Believe it or not… Our cute soup ladle Nessie has a mom. This colander spoon is approximately twice the size of the original Nessie but while Nessie has a solid bottom, Mamma Nessie has a perforated bottom making it perfect for straining stews, pasta and other dishes where you want to separate the solid parts from the liquid.
Naturally Mama Nessie is made of 100% food safe materials.

The Mamma Nessie is a really good example of functional design. The designers at Ototo has once again taken something as ordinary as a colander spoon and turned it into a funny and practical design item.
