Why we like it

This is a little gem from one of our favourite design companies Umbra. Its "just" a trivet but the smart thing is that adapts to its purpose. For a small pot or when being stored in the kitchen drawer in folds in neatly. When it is needed for a pancake or paella pan, simply pull in either end and the trivet expands while shifting shape from a flower to a circular symbol. A nice touch to an everyday object.
