Why we like it

This cute fish shaped serving bowl comes from the SOS collection of Sagaform. We think its a really nice way of presenting the herring, fish tapas or other delicious things. It works equally great for summer barbecues as for the Christmas dinner. In Sweden we eat the traditional "Sill" both for midsummer, eastern and Christmas (not a lot of imagination there) and next time we throw one of these dinners, we will prepare a beautiful table setting using the SOS bowls and trays.

Another thing we like is that this fish shaped plate is also oven safe. So if you have a few, you can actually prepare some really creative dishes. For instance buy a fresh fish, stuff it with garlic and fresh herbs and then gratinate it directly in this plate and serve it to the guests like that. A simple but much more creative way of serving the dish than using your standard plates.
