These original smoke alarm from Finnish Jalo are not only beautiful to look at, they are also a home decor detail that can save lives. It is actually said that for every 10 000 smoke alarms sold, one human life is saved.

The smoke detectors are easy to install so you will avoid unnecessary climbing and minimize the risk of falling. And if you burn your toast and set off a false alarm, you don't have to look for the little red button or tear down the device. The entire surface of the fly shaped smoke alarm works as an off-switch. Just press it and the alarm will stop.

How it works

The device operates so thatit detects smoke it will emit a loud and continuous warning siren to alert residents. To avoid unintentional alarms, the smoke detector will perform several checks by sampling the air multiple times. If false alarms occurs, the smoke alarm is equipped with a silence function, which turns off the alarm temporarily for eight minutes. If the smoke is heavy the silencer will not be possible to use for safety reasons.
