Easter…

Easter is truly one of my favorite holidays. Good food, family time and of course lots of sweets and chocolateeeeee! Since we moved to Barcelona, we have now also introduced a new tradition: Easter pic nic in the park. Yes, we Swedes really takes advantage of every bit of sun light we can get. 🙂 Don’t forget to paint som really funny eggs this year! Happy Easter to you all!

Easter “pyssel” for kids!

In swedish the word for doing crafts is “pyssel” and for easters our boys have a recurring favorite “Easter pyssel”, creating easter bunnies and chickens out of empty toilet rolls. Here are some samples, I am sure there will be plenty more before the holidays are over. You can find the template for the animals here. The description is in Swedish but it is not needed. Beach 2013 is approaching and here at Givensa we have tightened our belts and started on a diet …or have we? For there is a secret that not so many seem to know about here in Spain. The fact that you can eat fat and lose weight!! Yep, with the LCHF (Low Carb, High Fat) diet. So what is the secret? Well skip sugar and starchy food such as white bread and pasta, instead eat protein, fat and vegetables. Ikea launches new kitchen system

If you are interested in home and interior design, this may be some interesting news. The Swedish furniture giant IKEA is dumping their old kitchen system Faktum, and instead launches this new kitchen system called Metod.  The new system has lower plinths, more possibilities to experiment with your design and is aiming at making the kitchen more versatile and flexible to people’s needs. Expensive gifts…

This week we have had the opurtunity to visit Mobile World Congress here in Barcelona. It is quite far away from what we normally do at Givensa but nevertheless very interesting to see what all the big electronic manufacturers are up too. Maybe some nice little accessory could be a future Givensa product, until then here are some pictures.
