Today we launched Givensa.es!Yes, we did it, right on time! It has been a couple of weeks of hard work and late nights. But now everything is working fine and the shop looks great. A big thanks to our good friend Linda who worked with us day and night to get everything ready in time! All de products are in stock and we are now ready for orders. 🙂 © Givensa 2013 www.givensa.com

Boxes are coming to town

The first Givensa box design. Now the boxes are somewhere in DHL land. Hopefully they will be here tomorrow. We had to realize that we can not fit a pallet of carton boxes anywhere in our home or basement so today I passed by our landlords import-export company and asked if we could ship it there temporary. They were also short on space but I managed to get a couple of weeks. So in a couple of weeks, either we will sell things so we can get rid of some of the boxes or we have to bring them home…

Bye bye old theme…

Just a couple of days before the launching, we decided that we weren’t happy with the “look” of the store. And we also had a lot of trouble changing graphical stuff, well trouble changing everything…  So in last minute we did a re-install of the shop, deleted al the messy stuff from the old “theme” and installed a new one that looked great and worked perfectly.Lots of thanks to Tooniu at http://themeforest.net. © Givensa 2013 www.givensa.com

Final flyer

So Anso made a redesign of the flyer and spent 1 full day trying to get through the nightmare that Vistaprint calls ordering process. Then we had to pay as much in transport as the flyers actually cost us since Vistaprint carefully ignored to inform about any shipping options until the order was already paid. Then we had to pay extra to get our things delivered faster then 3 weeks? Todays lesson, never ever use Vistaprint again. In fact it is cheaper to go across the street from the kids school and make flyers. Well anyway now we have 2000…

The new flyer idea!

Today we cleared our heads and started from scratch. The sad-man-in-line idea may be for another time…This is the result of our flyer: 2,000 copies ordered. © Givensa 2013 www.givensa.com
